Lauren has been a part of the PeachCap family since she graduated from Wofford College (go Terriers!) in 2018. Lauren enjoys working with team members to help improve the client’s experience and success. Outside of the office you can find Lauren cheering on the Braves or hanging out with friends and family.

Dan Berkland

Client Service Advisor

Born in Nebraska, raised in the South; transplanted to Georgia in 2016.  My ideal day is one spent enjoying stand-up comedy, my movie addiction, creating the perfect playlist and testing my amateur landscape photography skills.  The photo of the Buckhead skyline on our website is a personal point of pride.  My top priority at PeachCap is streamlining and supporting the back office processes to allow our Financial Advisors to cultivate the best relationships possible with their clients.

Alison Biello

Senior Tax Coordinator

Alison is an Atlanta native and dedicated self-starter who loves challenging and rewarding work. She has a passion for detail-oriented tasks and believes we must see through the scope of our citizen focus to achieve progress. Alison has made a home with her teammates at Peachcap and knows that every day is a chance to make a difference, to use her skill set to achieve the optimal working result.

 
Eric Burnette

President

Eric is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received his BBA in Finance, Real Estate, and his CFP soon after. After serving clients as an advisor for many years, he had a desire to affect the company on a broader scale. Eric has an innate ability to see problems from every angle, as well as develop, refine, and oversee solutions and systems. He values people being considerate of others, and treating each other the right way. Eric strives to ensure that all of his employees and clients are treated fairly and appropriately, and are given the attention and resources they deserve in order to succeed.

 
Bob Fendrick

Tax and Wealth Advisor

Bob has been a practicing CPA in the Atlanta area since the early 70s. In 2017 he merged his existing firm into PeachCap.  His career, which started in Big Eight Public Accounting spans the large corporations to the individually owned small companies.  He has worked in many areas of taxation, accounting and payroll and brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm. 

 
Michelle Frank, CPA

Head of Accounting Services

Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Emory University. She completed her post-graduate studies in accounting at Georgia State University, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2013. Michelle brings 15+ years of public accounting experience to PeachCap, consisting primarily of personal and corporate tax return preparation, as well as extensive experience in financial statement compilation, payroll processing, and sales tax matters. She is currently an active member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.

 
Matt Goodwin

Director of Financial Advisors and Risk Management

Matt’s experience as a practicing advisor and insurance expert led him to PeachCap where he spearheaded the development of our Risk Management Department. Matt is a strong part of our Family Office where he finds joy in taking the time to get to know each advisor. Matt believes that by understanding who his clients are, he can help them achieve their goals and celebrate their financial wins together!

 
Josh Gregg

Tax Partner

Josh has more than 12 years of experience providing accounting and tax services to small and mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, and individuals. Over his career, Josh has been involved in a number of complex transactions, including business combinations, business acquisitions, and tax-free exchanges. Josh has also represented clients being examined by government agencies and frequently works with clients to minimize federal and state taxes. By working with a diverse set of clients and colleagues, Josh has gained knowledge in various tax subjects. This knowledge allows him to ask the right questions and identify potential tax pitfalls and opportunities.

Karen Holt

Wealth Advisor

As a Wealth Advisor with PeachCap, Karen is committed to providing her clients the highest level of professionalism and personal service.  Karen specializes in retirement planning, 401k rollovers, annuities, and insurance for affluent individuals, business owners and professionals. Karen believes a good investment program enhances personal wealth by increasing income consistent with each client’s risk tolerance and investment objective. Karen believes that before you make an investment decision, it is important to understand where you are today and where you want to be in meeting your investment goals. Once she fully understands her client’s goals, she will recommend a suitable investment program and monitor it on an ongoing basis.

 
David Miller

Founder and Chairman of the Board

Mr. Miller served in a leadership capacity and as a financial advisor for 5 years with a Fortune 50 financial services firm.  With an empty filing cabinet and fold out card table, he then founded PeachCap in 2008 during the financial crisis thanks to his inspiring and supportive spouse.  He now focuses his time leading the PeachCap team on vision and strategy.  David strongly believes that making easy decisions lead to a hard life and making hard decisions lead to an easy life.

 
Randy Miller

Chief of Staff

Joining PeachCap is Randy’s second career, as he previously retired from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company as a Program Office Director, and is also a veteran of the United States Army. Randy is described by many as sincere, devoted, dependable, and trustworthy.  His previous professional and personal experiences enhance his ability to work with his colleagues to better help our clients.  His broad background in operations, program management, and customer support allow him to help mold PeachCap’s unique experience that our clients have with us.  Randy possesses strong customer relations and interpersonal skills and is dedicated to customer satisfaction.

Margaret Myatt, EA

Tax and Wealth Advisor

Margaret brings 30 years of experience to Peachcap.  She works with her clients as both a tax and wealth advisor.  This enables her to offer full  investment management services as well as providing strategies to minimize taxes.  Her goal is to help clients develop a roadmap for their financial and retirement goals.  Keeping her client’s best interest is always the top priority.

 
Lisa Perkins

VP of Operations

Lisa’s wide-ranging experience in both contract negotiations and operations management makes her a valuable addition to the PeachCap team. Before coming to PeachCap, she spent time in operations, both in finance and as the COO for a medical technology company in Savannah, Georgia. She also served as Senior Broadcast Negotiator at a leading global media investment organization, working to help Fortune 100 companies with strategic advertising.

 
Michael Simpson

Bookkeeper

Michael graduated from Kennesaw University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He has 5 years of experience with write-up work, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and monthly financial statement preparation. He enjoys watching movies with his friends, traveling with his family, and prefers dogs over cats.

Levi’s desire to work with experienced and innovative accounting professionals led him to join the PeachCap team in December 2020.  With the majority of his experience in tax accounting, Levi knows that every client’s situation is unique.  He enjoys exploring those individual situations and providing confident and trustworthy solutions.

Minho Jang

Head of Credit Research & Senior Portfolio Manager

Minho likes to challenge the difficulties and complications that separate investors from fixed income, and help them enjoy the systematic and condensed way of approaching it. He strives to improve overall work efficiency and accuracy on the trading desk and with client security management. Minho feels his experience as a squad leader in the South Korean army taught him how to use good teamwork to maximize strengths and reduce weaknesses.

 
Cole Kastens

Fixed Income Trader

Cole joined PeachCap in the fall of 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Georgia. He interned previously as an equity research analyst. He has his Series 7 and is working towards his Series 63. When not in the office, he enjoys watching the Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, & the Georgia Bulldogs.”

 
Ed Kim

Chief Investment Officer

Edward runs the PeachCap fixed income trading desk as well as manages the firm’s institutional clients. With over a decade of experience trading, he has created and developed several unique fixed income strategies which he incorporates into the fixed income portfolios he manages. Edward is a graduate of Emory Goizueta Business school. He holds an Act 20/22 decree and proudly calls Puerto Rico home for him and his family.

 
Cameron Parkhurst

Head of Institutional Relationships  Fixed Income

Cameron’s 20+ years’ experience, both as a trader, portfolio manager and lead consultant to Institutional clients has led him to PeachCap.  He is a key cog in our process of both introducing RIAs, Family Offices, and other Institutions to our value additive bond strategies, but more importantly in highlighting areas where our desk creates significant competitive advantages and business efficiencies for each Advisor. He prides himself in sitting on the same side of the table with each Advisor as their strategic partner when communicating with their own clients.  Cameron is an integral member of the fixed income investment committee and does much of the written pieces for the desk. When not working, he can usually be found enjoying the water, competitive fishing, golf, and enjoying life with his children.
